When making a donation, please indicate a reference if you'd like your donation to be used toward a particular activity or programme.
Donated funds are used to cover costs incurred to print lesson materials, purchase school supplies, provide health checks and pay for resulting medical expenses such as eyeglasses. Edu Fun also uses donated funds to pay for various social activities, such as our annual trip to the Joburg Zoo for grade 3 learners, an annual Holiday Party for both grades 2 and 3 and an annual Holiday Reading, Art and Sport programme for select students from grades 2 and 3. We also have a further education programme (FEP) which assists varsity students from Diepsloot with living and educational expenses while pursuing further education.
Edu Fun is an official South African NPO (registered number 069-772-NPO). We are also registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930036948) and can issue tax deductible receipts. The Edu Fun annual financial statements are generously audited by Mastermind Business Support Services.
