Edu Fun is participating in the #GivingTuesday Campaign
via the Global Giving platform TODAY.
Thank you to all of our volunteers, friends and supporters who have helped us to re-imagine our education delivery and have kept the Edu Fun light shining during Covid- 19.
The affects of the pandemic will be felt well into 2021 and whilst our focus continues to be on teaching reading whether Face2Face or virtually, we know that any of our educational efforts will only be fruitful if the learners’ basic needs are met.
We already anticipate needing more funding to ensure that our programmes can continue with increased expenses such as data, sanitiser and masks, but we are mindful of the increased levels of unemployment caused by the pandemic and how so many families at Diepsloot Combined School will require continued assistance with monthly groceries, school uniforms and health checks in order to be able to access the Educational programmes on offer.
GlobalGiving’s 2020 #GivingTuesday Campaign will last 24 hours, from 00:00:00 ET to 23:59:59 ET TODAY Tuesday,
December 1. (from 7am today SA time)
Please spread the word. If you know anyone who is interested in receiving a tax receipt in the US or UK, please share.
This campaign is especially nice for Edu Fun because if anyone donates TODAY during the specified time, the Global Giving platform will match funds raised by a percentage of the total raised.
